110318 Park Jung Min Press Conference.
Welcomed by his fans enthusiastically upon arrival, Park Jung Min held an hour long press conference at Ritz Carlton on 18th afternoon. This was by far one of the more interesting and engaging press conference probably because of the fans at the venue as well, lightening the mood of the event. Showing a playful side of himself during the press conference, he created much laughter and smiles to fans and media alike.
Although there would be idols who feel that they should promote more in countries where they are already well known, however Park Jung Min thinks otherwise as he hopes to promote in countries with a smaller fan base so that more people will get to know about him. Not only that, he also mentioned that he knows that fans tweet him via Twitter from all over the world and he really appreciates the support. So send him tweets at: http://twitter.com/jungmin0403 . Another plan which would be coming up next for him would be to participate in an upcoming drama in Taiwan. So fans be sure to keep a look out for this Taiwanese drama!
Park Jung Min felt that song writing is one of the best ways to portray himself was through writing his own songs, he would be able to share his feelings and inspirations. When mentioned that his dance moves looked like moves from musicals, Park Jung Min mentioned that there were a lot of inputs from musical actors whom he had worked with in his past musicals and in fact, some of his back up dancers were musical actors.
During his events, fans would not fail to hear him speak in Mandarin as well as some statements in English. On the topic of his language abilities, he personally feels that he is fluent in Korean and Japanese from his previous promotions in Japan. Therefore he is currently practicing English and Mandarin however some difficulties he faced when learning Mandarin was the pronunciation due to the 4 intonations of the language. He also states that in the future after he has mastered English and Mandarin, he would like to learn languages like Spanish or French.
That marked the end of the press conference, however we would certainly hope to see Park Jung Min again in the near future as there are currently news of another upcoming album.
