Held in Singapore Indoor Stadium this year, Singapore Entertainment Awards 2011 Celebration Concert was overwhelmed with 8000 enthusiastic fans as well as various artistes from Singapore’s local talents to invited guests from Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and not forgetting Korea. The 4 hour long concert was an celebration concert for the winners who have won after a compilation of fan’s voting as well as ratings from a panel of judges.

Starting off the concert with aspiring performers from MICappella and Celine Jessandra Dance School, we see some talented performers and who knows, they might be back on the stage one day to receive an award. DJ-ing for the Red Carpet after the opening was DJ Ko-flo and James Yeo. With dazzling stars walking down the red carpet, screams can be heard non-stop as they cheer on for their favourite artistes.

Below is the list of performances:

1. Huang Jing Lun : 我的妈,月光

The first performer was local talent Huang Jing Lun, who won the <SPH Media Award – Outstanding New Generation Artiste of the Year>. He was very interactive with his fans effectively hyping up the mood of the concert. When receiving the award he also mentioned that it feels good to receive an award in his home country as his parents would be able to watch it in person and be able to share the happiness with them.

2. Derrick Hoh： 当我知道你们相爱，空位，爱的故事

With last-minute addition to his performance, award winner of Derrick Hoh sang to a member of his fan club. Dance moves from his hit song 当我知道你们相爱 was learnt during his 2 months stay in South Korea, Seoul. As known by all, Derrick Hoh and Huang Jing Lun are both close friends since they are both working in Taiwan now. After Derrick’s performance, the host gathered both of them on stage for a short segment where they perform each other’s songs, causing much laughter from the audience.

3. Namcha: Ruk Tae…Young Ngai (What Is Love)

For those who have not heard of her, Namcha has collaborated with Mighty Mouth previously for her track Rak Naa Doo. You can watch the MV if you are interested HERE. Namcha also told everyone about her twitter account so if you are interested you can follow her at http://twitter.com/namcha_tea. When asked what is the difference between singing and acting, she mentioned that as an actor, you have to behave like someone else but as a singer, she is free to be herself.

4. SIGMA: 世界这么乱，SIGMA

Their powerful performance on stage is not to be missed as they performed 2 of their songs from their album SIGMA. Performing for the first time in Singapore, they are very thankful for the invitation as well as the fans who are supporting them. When asked about their dressing, SIGMA mentioned that they are usually more daring when it comes to their stage clothes be it the colours, designs or the overall style of their dressing. When it comes to the local dishes, these 3 guys had nothing but praise the wide variety of choices. From chicken rice to butter prawns,  they look forward to the arrival of each meal.

5. Anthony Neely: 散场的拥抱，Sorry That I Love You

Taiwanese American singer Anthony Neely touched the audience with  his amazing vocals. Not only that, he was also awarded <Most Popular Regional Newcomer> as well as <Jolly Shandy Dynamic New Generation Artiste>. Winning the Dynamic New Generation award, he says that what gives him motivation and energy is the people around him. On the topic of his ideal type, he mentioned that from his previous 2 experiences he did realize that there will we some characteristics of his girlfriends would be similar to his mother like characteristics and capability.

6. Lollipop F: 四度空间，放空

Rocking the stage with their amazing dance moves and songs, Lollipop F performed to 2 songs from their latest album. The first thing I noticed about this group would be their group member Xiao Yu (The blonde guy) as he looks a lot like Super Junior’s leader, Lee Teuk. They mentioned that they were in Korea filming once and alot of the local students went over to talk to him in Korean asking if he was Lee Teuk. Wanting to be more unique, he dyed his hair only to realize that he looked even more like Lee Teuk now.

7. Tay Ke Wei, Freshmen, Serene Koong, Day Dream:Some of the songs include – 可不可以，小动作，明知道我爱你，美女

With individual performance from each of them, these local and neighbouring talents took the stage with a list of performances including collaboration between these local Singapore as well as Day Dream from Malaysia. Becoming great friends after this collaboration, the ladies even have thoughts of going over to Malaysia to support Day Dream during their event held on the end of this month.

8. Alien Huang: 玩具枪与玫瑰，复制人

Interacting well with his fans, Alien Huang even gave a shout out to all his fans. He also mentioned that he is currently filming thus not preparing for any new albums yet, however he hopes to release a new album with his own compositions.  Known for his hosting and art skills, this time Alien Huang was very touched to be presented his first award as a singer. Another award he won via online voting was <omy Hottest Web Celeb>, with these 2 awards, he was asked if next year would he be aiming to receive <Best Male Singer>. In reply he said that he would work hard for it however, he appreciates being awarded <Most Popular Male Singer>  and would love to promote more often in Singapore and he hopes to attend E Awards no matter he receives an award or not.

9. Se7en: Better Together, Digital Bounce, Passion

The only Korean guest invited for the night, Se7en performed to his hit songs with charisma and energy. Starting off Digital Bounce with styled hair and his trademark sunglasses, the crowd cheered him on enthusiastically. After his performance he mentioned that he would like to come back to Singapore for a solo concert so all you Se7en fans out there do keep a look out for it! When asked how he felt about Big Bang winning <Most Popular Korean Artiste>while he was awarded <Best Asian Performance>  he said that he did not know Big Bang also won an award, but he felt great that they won an award as well as they work together and that it means a lot to them receiving these awards.

11. Sigma, Ella: 爱就对了，魔力

Having a performance with their fan club S.H.E Ambience, the winner of , photos of S.H.E taken with fans as well as photos of the club members played on slide show as a beautiful back drop. A short audio pre-recorded by Selina and Hebe was also played after that. Selina became excited as she starts mentioning the food she missed in Singapore. And the concert ended with a final performance with a collaboration between SIGMA and Ella. As the biggest winner of the night, S.H.E walked away with 5 awards including <Most Popular Group><SPH Media Award – Artiste of the Year><OCBC Titanium Superstar of the Year>, Hebe’s<Most Popular Female Artist><Best Album>

The entire concert was a major success and all the artistes gathered backstage for a group photo before ending the day.
