11010 Ukiss Bran New Ukiss KL Press Conference
UKISS is back once again in Malaysia with two BRAN NEW UKISS members – AJ & Hoon. Having just concluded their newest hit ’0330′ promotion in Korea last month, UKISS continued with their album promotion overseas in Malaysia last weekend and this marked their second visit to Malaysia. The event press conference was held at Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant on Friday morning, prior to their showcase cum fanmeet happening in the evening. UKISS greeted the media enthusistically and Soohyun even cracked the floor up when he messed some Japanese into his introduction speech.
Following the introduction, the host began the Q&A session. When asked if UKISS has introduced any thing about Malaysia to the new members, Kevin mentioned that they have introduced satays to them and Hoon is liking it.
AJ has also mentioned that in addition to anticipating to their performances later the showcase, they will like to have fun and interactions with their fans.
Eli briefly discussed the new concept of their new album ‘BRAN NEW UKISS’. A sad song was chosen as their title song, which talks about remembering their past, their first love. This new concept shows off their soft and mature image, unlike most of the bad boy image in their previous hits. Eli has also commented that Dongho has improved alot for his acting in the music video since debut.
As requested by the media, Eli showed off his speciality in imitating a pigeon and an elephant which brought lots of laughter from the medias. Catch it in our video below.
Mykplayground has too posted one question to UKISS during the press conference. We asked if there’s any variety show that UKISS wishes to attend, be it in Korea or overseas. Soohyun responded that he hopes to get on Korea’s reality show – ‘We Got Married’ and as long as his partner is a female, he is fine.
Next question on the meaning behind the phrase ‘rsquarepi’ in 0330 rap, AJ mentioned that he is trying to refer rsquarepi as the circle that they are inside together, the place and memories they’ve created. Hence, ‘Don’t deny our rsquarepi’ basically means to do not deny the inner circle that they’ve made together. UKISS then proceed on with phototaking session with the the various major sponsors and presenters.
