110807 B1A4 “Let’s Fly” Press Conference
The B1A4 Singapore Showcase Press Conference took place on 8th August afternoon at Jewel Box, Singapore’s iconic hilltop destination. With the increasing scale of K-Pop fans in Singapore, B1A4’s popularity in Singapore is proven with a huge crowd of BANAs gathering at the press conference venue.
At 106m above sea-level, the 5 member rookie boy group make their way in through the main entrance to the venue after a spectacular cable car ride that afternoon. This friendly 5 member group made up of Jinyoung, Sandeul, CNU, Baro and Gongchan greeted the media with a cheerful personality.
The press conference officially kick started when the members did a self introduction along with their best pose. The boys did not disappoint the media parties as they gave out their best pose which resembled their personalities.
They was asked “There are so many rookie groups debuting in Korea every year, what does B1A4 intend to do to stand out from the rest?” they replied with “We want to be like friends with the fans and let them feel the sense of closeness with us. We have kind personalities so we want our fans to feel comfortable around us”.
B1A4 landed in our sunny island for their very first showcase hence it will not be surprising for questions relating to the showcase. When asked about “special performances during the first showcase tomorrow”, the boys stated that they are all very excited about it and they are looking forward to seeing the Singapore fans.
B1A4 released their debut teasers in a very special way. When asked about the reason for choosing webtoons to represent them in their teasers, they stated that these characters will show the fans the world of B1A4 and also to stand out as a new group in the K-Pop industry.
Last but not least, B1A4 ended this press conference with a message to the Singapore BANAs. “It’s really nice coming to Singapore. We promise to work hard continuously in future and we would love to come back to Singapore again”.
