111126 Sundown Festival 2011
Proudly brought to you by Red Spade Entertainment, Sundown Festival is back, third year running. Despite a heavy downpour before the concert on the 26th November evening which caused a slight delay Fans were still seen queuing up at the venue to catch the favourite idols performing live in Singapore. The moods of the fans were not dampened as they cheered on for all the performing artistes This year, Sundown Festival 2011’s participating artistes included Vivid, Zhang Yun Jing, Teen Top, Hebe and Show Luo .
The concert started with fringe performances by the students of Temasek Polytechnic. The concert officially kicked started when the “visual-kei” Jrock band from Japan, ViVid, rocked the stage with top hits from their albums. As promised during the fan meet session, ViVid showed their best performance for their first time ever performance in Singapore and performed a total of 4 songs before passing the stage to the Mandopop artiste Zhang Yun Jing.

Being the Winner of Taiwan’s Super Idol 1st Session 2008, Zhang Yun Jing soothed the hearts of the crowd performing hit songs from her album. She also played the guitar as she sang to a song she wrote herself while she was reflecting on life in the middle of the night called 相反的我.

After the long waiting, Angels finally saw Teen Top up on stage performing Supa Luv as their opening act. For all the Angels who waited for Teen Top, Angel was the second they have chosen. Teen Top brought the atmosphere up to a higher level when they performed their latest hit No More Perfume On You and Brushing before rounding up their act with Clap.

The headline performances were presented by Hebe and Show Luo. Hebe from Taiwan with her melodious voice performed a total of 5 tracks from her latest solo album. It was Hebe’s first time to perform as a solo artiste in a great-scale concert after her debut.

With fans queuing up from as early as 2 days before the show, Show Luo lives up to his popularity with hordes of cheers from the crowd upon his appearance for his first dance song. Show Luo performed a total of 4 songs from his latest album as well as his previous albums. He also shared his love for black pepper crabs in Singapore which caused the fans to end up in laughter.
Sundown Festival 2011 officially ended successfully with all performing artistes appearing on stage once again.
