2011 Girls’ Generation Tour has successfully come to an end after much commotion. From the moment the concert was confirmed in Singapore, to the amazing ticket sales which caused the fans to request for a second night of performance and of course not forgetting the queuing on the day of the concert, Sones have created an amazing impact. Listening to the deep cheers for the girls was indeed refreshing from the high pitched screams that you hear during majority of the events in Singapore. Furthermore, the fan chants, the beautiful sea of pink and their fan project of “소녀시대 makes our lives Complete” during their performance of “Complete” were all really heartwarming to see.
From their debut song, Japanese singles to their latest release, a total of 33 songs were performed during the 3 hour long concert including their solo segment songs. Showcasing all different concepts from their usual stage concept, dark concept to their sweet and playful concepts for fans; it’s a performance galore with the performances they have waited long to watch live, for others it was an eye opening experience to the different sides and talents of Girls’ Generation.
Going round the stage greeting the fans for majority of the show, the 9 girls were indeed enjoying themselves on stage as mentioned during the Press Conference prior to the show. Getting fans to enjoy their “fake” final stage before appearing once again with their debut song “Into the New World”, they did a great job hosting the concert themselves by keeping the fans wanting more. Telling the fans that they got to try Chilli Crab and they really enjoyed it and saying that they love the fans more than Chilli crab, the way they expressed themselves was really unique as some of the members even danced to show how they felt during the concert.
