Organized by Reer Media and held at Official Venue St James Power Station, “Do You Wanna Be Block B” showcase was a success with fans wanting more and with floods of comments wanting Block B to be back in Singapore once again after their first showcase in Singapore.
Fans queued early in the morning in hopes to be as close as they can to Block B as it was a free standing event but I believe these fans should have no regrets as they stood right in front of the stage with their idols within an arm’s stretch. Beginning the showcase with Halo, the 7 members put up a powerful performance before doing a short introduction of themselves. With Block B’s fun loving personalities, everyone in the crowd wished they were the lucky fans chosen to go up on stage to interact with Block B up close and personal.

7 lucky fans were chosen prior to the showcase to have a free style dance battle together with a member of Block B. Each couple performed their discussed choreography and the winner was chosen with the loudest cheers. Taeil’s team won the battle and not only did he did a short encore stage of his mini performance, the fan walked away with an autographed Block B shirt!
After their performance of Wanna B, there was a short Q&A session. Exposing more secrets within the group during the session including PO being the cry baby in the team and Jaehyo being the one who got bullied the most in the group. They even revealed that although the album that will be out in February doesn’t have many tracks but all the songs were produced by Zico and will be a very special treat to the fans. So BBCs, look out for it!
Block B continued to perform to another track in their album, Freeze before a game of action charades took place on stage with the lucky selected fans. BBCs who participated had to guess the character Block B was imitating and those who get it right received a hug or handshake from each member. The characters included Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe and more!
A short birthday celebration took place for Bbomb & Jaehyo with a birthday song from the fans, not only that, BBC Singapore also prepared a short video for Block B. The members watched attentively and were all touched by the video. Performing to Tell Them as their final song before having a short event with a lucky fan, they threw out mini candy canes to the crowd as part of a Christmas arrangement.

With screams and cheers for an encore stage, Block B appeared back on stage with more energy than ever and performed to Let’s Get Retarded by Black Eyed Peas. PO and Zico even put on the fanclub shirts prepared by BBC Singapore during their encore stage! Thankful for the amount of support they are receiving in Singapore, Block B hope to be back in Singapore again and we believe BBCs in Singapore would like that as well but in the meantime, do support these groups of 7 interesting idols who have brought lots of fun and laughter to the fans during their stay!
