It was more than just a concert, it was a celebration of all things Korean from food to cultural performances to fashionable music acts.
Featuring world-class music and dance acts all the way from South Korea, the concert started in a dramatic style with percussion performance by Miso Korean Musical that not only showcased the world culture heritage of Traditional Korean narrative song, but also presents a variety of other traditional instruments and the beautiful Korean Fan Dance. There were also fringe shows such as the Drawing Show and performances from the River Crew-B*Boys.
With a line up of soloists, such as Mario and Lee Ji Su who are both featured prominently in Korean film soundtracks. It marked the start of a night with well-known Korean songs. Famous K-Pop groups like T-Max, Brown Eyed Girls and F.T Island then took over the stage with their top hits.
Alongside the main stage, a food village serving authentic Korean Dong Dae Mun street food was set up to introduce and satisfy the cravings for Korean street snacks. With all the perfect line-ups for the night, Sundown Festival Seoul’d Out! 2009 serves as a great complete cultural exchange to all. Look forward to our next update on Sundown Festival 2010 soon!
